Wooly Bully, mashes up Sam the Sham and the Pharaohs pop hit of the same name, Wall Street’s “Charging Bull” statue, a striped wool sweater, an animated gif of a few lyrics from the original song, and the YTMND format. “Wooly Bully” takes the iconic “Charging Bull” statue and transforms it into the literal bull wearing wool, while taking a sarcastic jab at Wall Street institutions’ knack for developing new and risky techniques to acquire moar lucre. The piece was created for the 2010, “YTAND (You’re The Artist Now, Dawg!),” digital minimalism exhibition curated by Patrick Lichty.
